Charlesworth Cricket Club was founded in 1861 and Chisworth Cricket Club was founded in 1867.  In 1895 the two clubs were amalgamated to form the present Charlesworth & Chisworth Cricket Club.

CCCC ground is located at Bankfield, off Marple Road to the right of Charlesworth Park.

The club competes in the Derbyshire and Cheshire Cricket League at various levels.  There are two senior teams the first eleven and second eleven and there are four junior teams, under 11's, under 13's, under 15's and under 17's.  Also there is a social Over 40's team that arranges friendly fixtures every season.

As a club, we are always on the lookout for new enthusiastic players at all levels.  We offer an open door policy so please feel free to come and join us.  At present we can offer approved coaching to all of our junior teams.
